The Horseshoe Bend Motel is currently under renovation. Our updated rooms will come equipped with the following:

Policies

Check in & Check Out:

  • Check in policy: Our check in times are from 3:00-9:30pm. Although these hours accommodate the majority of our guests, if you need an earlier or later check out time we will try our best to accommodate you. Please note that we have a small staff so if you do not make accommodations in advance there may not be someone to assist you. If you are arriving after hours, please let us know in advance so we may process your payment in full and have your room open for you upon arrival.

  • Our check out time is 11:00am. If you would like a late checkout (as late as 1:30pm) please let us know in advance. There is a $15 late checkout fee.

Smoking policy:

  • All of our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in your room will result in a $250.00 damage fee.

  • Guests must stay at least 50 feet away from all rooms and lobbies when they smoke.

  • We have a gazebo and lawn area in the front of the motel where guests are invited to smoke.

Pet Policy:

  • Unfortunately due to allergy concerns we do not allow cats to stay at the horseshoe bend motel.

  • We allow a maximum of two dogs per room and there is a pet fee of $15.00 per pet. Per stay.

  • All dogs must be leashed at all times while on the property, and if a guest leaves their room they must take their dog with them. Pets are not to be left unattended in the rooms.

  • We require guests to clean up after their pet and properly dispose of any waste while on the property.

  • Any pet that cannot be controlled will be asked to leave: this Including damaging property, excessive barking, or aggressive behavior.

  • There is a $100 pet fee if a pet is found in a non-pet friendly room without management approval.

Damage policy:

  • OUr system keeps a card on file to cover any charges incurred with your stay. Damage to linens, furniture, and property will be billed to the customer at our replacement & labor cost.

  • Please note: all of our linens are white. If you are a worker who is concerned about damaging our white linens, please let us know in advance so we may replace your white linens with darker colors.

  • Soiled linens, carpets, and furniture are included as damage.

  • Guests are responsible for excessive dirtiness sustained to the room during their stay. A fee of $50 will be applied to the final bill for excessive dirtiness.

Cancellation policy

  • We understand that plans change, and we want to provide the best customer experience we can. Unfortunately, last minute cancellations often result in rooms sitting empty and prevent other guests from booking.

  • There is a 3 day cancellation policy. Rooms cancelled more than 3 days in advance from your arrival will be given a full refund. for example if you have a reservation on may 20th, you would need to cancel by may 17th before 3pm to receive a full refund. All reservations cancelled within 3 days of the reservation will be subject to a full charge (lodging and taxes) for their stay if we are unable to rebook the room.

  • There is a $15.00 administration fee on all cancellations.

  • If you must leave before your scheduled departure date, you are subject to the above cancellation policy.
